United States Coast Guard crewed aircraft pilots are officially designated as “Coast Guard aviators”, although they complete the same undergraduate flight training as Navy and Marine Corps crewed aircraft pilots, and are awarded the same aviation breast insignia. Post WWI Propaganda Poster. Measuring 30″ x 20″ this is a fantastic vibrant World War One veteran poster produced for the Red Cross Roll Call, Nov. Has been professionally framed. Artist: Jean-Louis Forain It reads: The Red Cross is spending ten million dollars a year to help the disabled ex-service man and his family. Annual Roll Call, Nov. 11th24th It features a full color disabled soldier holding a cane and sitting in a chair while shadow of a Red Cross nurse looks onward in the background. Red Cross cross in upper left hand corner. There is some discoloration, edge wear and other damage from display and age. With frame, measures 21.5in x 32in.

Stetson Officer’s Campaign Hat, M1911 1930s Original Tags & Chin Strap
Stetson M1911 WWI – interwar years, 1930s Officer’s Campaign Hat, four dent, 3in brim, no stitching at brim edge, stars not oak leaf. Chin strap is original but detached on one side. Despite being almost 100 years old, this Stetson is in fantastic condition! The exact age is unknown but the hat has several characteristics that help date it. The brim is 3in wide but does not feature decorative stitch lines around the outer edge, which dates the hat as later than 1919. The Stetson logo has stars in the upper left quadrant, but Stetson changed this to an oak leaf in 1950. The labels also suggest the date, making the 1930s my best estimate!

Original Artwork of the State of Minnesota National Guard Crest 1926 Watercolor
This is from a set the government had discarded that was ostensibly the original artwork for the designing of the crests for the 48 State National Guard units and our associated territories. They are all original watercolors on board and are in varying condition and the time frame they were done was the 1920’s to the 1940’s and the dates are in the corners with the sign off of the relevant officer of the quartermaster general’s office. These are one of a kind design proofs for the State Guard unit crests and are extremely well done and executed. I do not know who this artist is. This design was approved by the Quartermaster’s Department in 1926. It is in good condition with minor corner wear. The size is about 8″ x 10″. I focus on happy repeat customers and love what I do and try to ensure all customers are happy. I do not stay glued to my computer and have a real job so please do not expect instantaneous answers. I specialize in paper, photos, coins and militaria. I sell about anything except reproductions. If it is not old, I say so. If there is a defect, I also say so.
