Airship Pilot, USAAC, 1920-30’s, marked withunknw hallmark-FS-PB-OP-HB-FF-MM-SL-Ster

1920-30’s Military Airship Pilot, full size, marked with what I would call a skydiver in a winged suit, but I’m sure that depends on how you look at it. This particular Hallmark has been encountered by collectors over the years, but still remains unidentified. This is a lovely pattern with fine feather fletching from the era of flying balloons and airships. It also has the correct Center “drop-in” pin catch and stout pin. This item weighs 0.8 oz. This is a very attractive wing pattern, not too unlike the design used by the Goodyear blimp corporation back during World War II for their airship badge design- see my other listing (224506023859) for that particular airship badge. If you don’t have an airship badge in your collection, don’t miss out on this opportunity to acquire one of the more attractive designs from the era. He also states that knowing what he now knows he realizes he should have chosen the BB &B bad ge , simply because of the name even though that particular design is still less attractive to him. Please consider viewing my other listings and adding me to your “favorites” list as I will be listing many more interesting and unusual items in the future-particularly wings.
