Repainted and reused by Korps Rijkspolitie after the end of the war in 1945. This helmet had been adopted by the army in 1932, see stamp CM1932 in the liner band (Centraal Magazijn, Central Warehouse). Original pre-WW2 shell, liner and chin strap (dark green color from production remains under the dark grey). In very good original condition, beautiful marks. In WW2 the old army helmets were used by various collaborating and civil organizations such as the civil defense. Most helmets used by the National Police after the war came from German war booty and often had their original interior. The helmet was painted in the Rijkpolitie’s dark grey (original paint) and a flaming grenade. Have a good look at the photos and please see my other ads as well. Original holländischer Stahlhelm vom Typ M27. Nach Kriegsende 1945 vom Korps Rijkspolitie neu lackiert und wiederverwendet. Chapeau, Epaulettes, Belt in the Original Tin. USNA Class of 1935. A very nice grouping! In the original Tin case. The latch was broken off/removed at one time lost the key? , but they kept the latch fixings inside and the key is present. Chapeau is in used condition, showing some wear of the fur in many places (it was well used). Silk inside is intact showing spotting/staining (view all photos). I cannot find a maker for the hat on it. Creasing all along the hat band (see photos). The epaulettes are in very good, but used condition – some spotting on the gold tops (see photos), stamped “Made in France” underneath on the hook areas. The Belt is also there and is in very good / but used condition, showing wear and use as would be typical. The Tin is very nice overall, hinges working nicely, the black paint is scratched all over due to use, storage, and time, as well as having an “HCL” painted on the top and a large stain/dirt area. It needs a gentle cleaning. The key to the case is affixed to the handle by a WWII era shoe-lace. View all photos for condition. Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Officer’s belt, Navy with hangers for suspending a dagger, for ceremonial uniform Model M1924. This type of officer’s belt M1924 (Scarf for holiday and everyday uniform) with a hanger for the officer’s ceremonial dagger was worn by Navy officers, as can be seen on the scanned photo of a Navy officer in a ceremonial uniform with an officer’s belt and a dagger hanging from his belt. The scan of the photo is from the book; of the Historical Museum of Serbia: “Official dress in Serbia in the 19th and 20th centuries”, on page no. A belt (Scarf) with two straps (Henger) for hanging a dagger are made of black cotton yarn. The decorative buckle on the belt is made of pressed brass gilded sheet, as well as decorative buckles and carabiners. The decorative buckle has a relief wreath in the form of two twigs with a laurel leaf. And in the laurel wreath there is a medallion with a decorative admiral’s anchor with the monarchist crown of Kradordevic. The belt has signs of wear, but is in excellent condition. It has not been cleaned and has an original patina. This kind of Ceremonial officer’s belt with a viscose, Henger in this state of preservation, is extremely rare.
