The material of the stand has an elegant look and blends beautifully with the wooden part of the weapon. The stand is easily disassembled and transported. Walnut wood has a contrasting grain structure and each product comes with a variety of beautiful patterns. One original Mexican model 1936 mauser rifle wood stock with matching handguard, has the nosecap no other metal, wood is nice medium red brown color, lots of grain, had the brass plaque on the butt at one time, probably walnut, needs a good cleaning and oiling, , overall good serviceable condition for a mexican mauser stock.
