Original Pre-WWII US Navy Naval Aviator Observer Wings White Co. Very nice original item. Construction in silvered brass. Unmarked, cavity back, pin-back fastener with C-hook. Although unmarked this is the White Co. Pattern and examples are known. This is one of the rarer US Naval Aviator wings out there. This was in regulations between 1927 and 1929 approx. I attached a screenshot of the 1922 US Naval Regulations Supplement detailing order 225(c) on the naval aviator observer wings which would be replaced by the O-wing in mid 1929. The whole regulation is available on the University of Illinois digital library where it was scanned in. Note: There are no berries, these are feathers. The former Japanese Army. It’s from taisho era. The military stamp was manufactured in 1920, is size 5, has the name of the army uniform factory, and the name of the person who used it. Republicans loyal to the left-leaning Second Spanish Republic, in alliance with the Anarchists and Communists, fought against the Nationalists, a Falangist, Carlist, Catholic, and largely aristocratic group led by General Francisco Franco. During the Spanish Civil War. Third empire of Germany actively supported the Nationalist faction led by Francisco Franco. Sending a unit called the “Condor Legion” which consisted of personnel from the German Luftwaffe and army, primarily providing airpower and developing strategic bombing tactics, most notably seen in the infamous bombing of Guernica. Original Post-WWI German Freikorps Einwoher Wehr Fichtel-Gau Membership Pin RARE. A really hard to find Einwohnerwehr Fichtel Gau Membership Pin, there are some notable members of this pre-WWII. The Einwohnerwehr or Citizens Defense groups appeared in Germany after the November 1918 revolution making up a part of the Freikorps militia. They were established with the goal of defending Germany against Communist uprisings although the use of the old imperial colours on this badge go some way to suggest they didn’t support the new Weimar government either. Presumably they consisted mainly of civilians, rather than ex-soldiers like the regular Freikorps units. This stickpin is for the Einwohnerwehr of the Fichtel region of Bavaria.
