Edge markings: 875 – silver purity mark S. Condition. Silver with natural age patina. Ribbon in very poor condition, heavy fraying and wear. Edge maker mark clearly visible. This is the type without rolled edge as made during the German occupation for civil defence, police and other collaborating units. Almost all original paint remains. No holes or cracks. The chin strap is’ersatz’ and comes from a similar helmet, the leather short part is a reproduction. The liner is original pre-1940 and never removed.
