Extremely Rare 1931 U. Naval Academy USS Arkansas and USS Wyoming Youngster Cruise’32 Map. Map measures approximately 31″x 15.5″. Overall condition is good. The map is creased from having been folded, and there are a few tears around the edges. There are a handful of light spots on the map also, as pictured. Map is presently shrink-wrapped on foam board, but if you choose to have it matted and framed, the few tears on the corners/edges should hide nicely behind the matting. Thank you for looking. Montreal, Canada, Nova Scotia Princess Louise Fusiliers Regiment Pith Helmet size 7 signed Sgt. Helmet also has another name written on the inside which has been marked over. There is a stamped mark “SJE, 105″ as well. Original Princess Louise Fusiliers Hat Badge is present as well as the leather headliner but helmet is missing the chin strap which has been replaced by a metal chain. The brass spike on top of the helmet is intact but may have had a repair at its base. Please refer to all of the listing photos for additional detail and condition. THE TREATIES ENDING WW1 CREATED MORE WARS. THE COLLAPSE OF THE AUSTRO-HUNGARIAN EMPIRE CREATED MANY NEW CONFLICTS BETWEEN PEOPLES WHO HAD LONG BEEN SUPPRESSED FROM THEIR NATIONAL AND REGIONAL IDENTITIES. IN 1918 A UKRAINIAN NATION WAS DECLARED IN LVOV. THE LARGE POLISH POPULATION REVOLTED AND BATTLES WERE JOINED BETWEEN IRREGULAR POLISH MILITIA CALLED THE “EAGLETS” AND THE REMNANTS OF THE UKRAINIAN SICH RIFLEMEN UNIT WHICH HAD BEEN A REGULAR MILITARY UNIT OF THE EMPIRE. A BEAUTIFUL GARLAND SURROUNDS THE CASE WITH SHIELD AND DATES IN TWO. THE SHELL IS A 76.2mm IMPERIAL RUSSIAN CONTRACT FIELD GUN TYPE MADE IN ENGLAND IN 1917.
