Another beautiful banner that’s getting close to 100 years old!

SIG Bergmann 1920 Finnish SIG Bergmann 1920 box m? G. From info off the’net, should also fit the later versions of the MP18 (types’III’ &’IV’). No rust in or out. No dents in body, the right side feedlip has a small ding, which should be easy to straighten. Finland imported the Bergmann in 7.65 parabellum. I tried a few rounds, and 9×19 seems to fit too. Marked on lower back with a crowned “S” in a notched circle, and the letters “SA”. Near the top front is an “S” with 3 lines to each side. Markings were highlighted with chalk for pictures. Witness holes are marked’??’ through’??’. NOTE that the metal on the lower sides has a rough texture. It’s not rust pitting – appears to be from the manufacture of the metal. This item is a fund-raiser for The CROW. A note on our packaging. We use just about 100% re-used packing material and boxes (with the exception of the occasional new flat-rate box).

Antique US Navy Chief Petty Officer Hat Badge. It measures 1.75 inches long and is a pin back. Has a little corrosion, but still in great condition.

These are vintage Teitzel-Jones boots, a brand with deep historical ties to the U. The company logo is stamped on the inside and it looks like Capt. Blomme is handwritten on the inside. There are straps inside of each boot for pulling the boots on. The boot measures 19 high. The foot part measures 11.25″ long and they are 5″ wide at the widest point. These boots do not feel fragile or brittle. The leather is supple. The boots are fairly sturdy. They are in very good condition. These boots were highly regarded for their craftsmanship and were frequently custom-made for cavalry officers and high-profile figures. The “Teitzel-Jones” name marks a specific era in the company’s evolution. The company moved to Wichita in 1914. Teitzel passed away in 1929 and Carlton Dehner left to form his own company (The Dehner Company) in 1930, the business was known as Teitzel-Jones. Boots with only “Teitzel Jones” on the label likely date from 1930 through the WWII era. Teitzel was known as a premier maker of cavalry officer boots. Notable customers included General George Patton, who ordered custom battle boots, and Eleanor Roosevelt, for whom they made riding boots. #Wichita #Cavalry #Custom Made #Officer #Dehner #TeitzalJones.

This is an original photo album published in Taisho 9 (1920), just after the completion of Meiji Shrine (Meiji Jingu) in Tokyo. This sacred site was built to honor Emperor Meiji, who led Japan’s rapid modernization in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, transforming the country from a feudal society into a major world power. Rare photographs and illustrations showing the shrine’s grand construction, architecture, rituals, and the first ceremonies ever held at Meiji Jingu. Detailed scenes of traditional Shinto processions, the great torii gate, and the lush forest that was planted as an act of national devotion. A glimpse into the mindset of the era, where loyalty to the Emperor and national unity were central values taught to soldiers and citizens alike. Why is it important? Meiji Shrine is more than a religious site: it became a symbol of Japan’s national identity and its new place in the world after the Meiji Restoration. This album was published by the Imperial Military Education Association, meaning it was intended as an official educational tool for young soldiers-instilling pride, reverence, and national spirit. Who valued this album? Young military cadets, educators, and even ordinary citizens would have seen these images as a source of inspiration and pride. Today, it is a tangible “piece of history” for collectors, researchers, and anyone interested in the roots of modern Japan. There are stains, discoloration, and minor damages due to age, but this only adds to the authenticity and charm of this almost 105-year-old artifact. Own a Piece of History. What a gorgeous poster sized certificate! This was made out to Robert Van Roo who was in the Wisconsin National Guard. He graduated with a bachelor degree in Science. This is another of those one of a kind pieces so don’t wait long! Please note that there are various wear holes on the certificate poster.

This photo has some edge wear. It is a little wavy. (Please see photos for more details). Additional photos available upon request. Please specify details you would like to see more clearly. Most items not sent internationally.

Very rare, complete 1938 item! This particular example was evidently sent to Finland for use by either thier army or distributed for civilian use- that part of its history is unfortunately lost. Doesn’t appear to ever have been used, and is complete with carrying cannister, mask with screw- on filter, and original insert. There are a couple small dents to cannister, and minor wear to original finish of pieces, but all is sound and overall very good. Please see pics for further description and condition.
