Badge of the USSR “Fighter of the Red Guard and the Red Partisan”. Established by the Leningrad Regional Executive Committee on October 23, 1932. I n 1932, the USSR celebrated the 15th anniversary of the October Revolution. To commemorate this event, a new award was introduced – the badge “Fighter of the Red Guard and the Red Partisan”. In another way, the sign was called “15th anniversary of October”. In the early 30s, in Leningrad, divisions of former Red Army soldiers and Red partisans. Probably, the badge of honor, in most cases, was awarded to those who were listed in this unit and took an active part in various events. The decision to award the badge was apparently made by the Leningrad Council of People’s Deputies. After the civil war, many former Red Guards and Red partisans lived in Leningrad. Participants in the revolution and civil war. At the beginning of 1930, they turned to the city committee of the party with a request to allow them to form a division from participants in revolutionary battles. It became known as the Leningrad Red Guard Division. Only those who had the documents of a former partisan or Red Guard were enrolled in it on a voluntary basis. About 2,000 signs were issued, however, after the “Stalin Repressions” of the 30s and the “Great Patriotic War of 1941-45″, most of the awarded people died, and the signs were heaped up for remelting. Great Sterling Pre-WWII US Air Corps 94th Pursuit (Fighter) Squadron Ring. ARTIFACT: This is a sterling silver pre-World War II ring for the United States Army Corps 94th Pursuit (Fighter) Squadron. The ring shows an arrowhead bearing the bust of a Native American man. Each side displays an eagle with spread wings above a striped crest. VINTAGE: Circa pre-World War II. SIZE: Approximate size 9. ARTIFACT: This is a very rare Polish 111th Fighter Squadron Enlisted Mans badge from the 1930s. Badge is a convex disc with a background of stripes and stars featuring an enlisted mans cap crossed by two Polish farm implements used for fighting at center. ATTACHMENT: Brass backing disc. This is a very nice example of a rare and desirable custom RANDALL Fighting Knife which dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a blade that measures 7 7/8 inches in length. The blade reflects good honest wear with crude sharpening scratches that could easily be removed in the right hand if desired. The markings RANDALL MADE Spfld. Do however remain very nice and clear. The leather ringed hilt also shows that it has been well used but does remain healthy in its condition as well. This Knife is wearing a Mosser type scabbard that remains in excellent condition with all the stitching still tightly intact. The sharpening stone is long gone.
