Offered for sale is an original Spanish Civil War German Luftwaffe Condor Legion M35 helmet with the original liner and chin strap. The original Luftwaffe blue paint is visible in the interior dome. All split rivets are unbuggered. The chin strap is intact. Some splits and wear are present on the leather liner. The shell is a small size 62. Rivet holes for the Spanish Eagle are present on the front of the helmet. The lot code looks to be 3086 or 3066. There are no visible markings on the chinstrap. It is 100% correct and original. This is a German manufactured helmet, not a Spanish copy. At a maximum only 14,000 were used by the German volunteers, far fewer than any “Elite” helmet. Rare Spanish ORDER OF Military MERIT for Legion Condor, 1936. It is a gold version of’Al Merito Militar. Gilt-edged White enamel cross on swivel crown suspension. The face with an imposed circular central medallion in red, white enamel and gilt metal bearing an escutcheon quarterly of Castile and Léon with Granada overall. The Order was created by Queen Isabel II in 1864 for military merit,’Al Merito Militar. The cross is of white enamel in times of peace, and of red in times of war. This is from the period 1938 to 1940. Awarded to 3rd Reich Luftwaffe and Panzer Personnel During Spanish Civil War 1936. Equivalent to German Knights Cross. WWI German Imperial iron cross badge pin soldier medal WWII US Army bring back. Here is your chance to own a beautiful Spanish War Cross. Awarded for military bravery during the 1936 Civil War. These were issued to members of the German Wehrmacht as well. In excellent condition overall and loaded with patina. Stablished in Spain after the end of the Civil War, by General Francisco Franco on January 26, 1938. The Cross was founded to reward the nationalist military personnel who defeated republican forces in the Spanish Civil War. It was awarded to all the branches of the Spanish Army who, in combat, rendered extraordinary and effective services to the nationalist cause. Currently, the Order consists of a single grade, the War Cross medal, and it is awarded to Spanish military personnel rewarding great and heroic deeds and the display of merit within dangerous campaigns. ARTIFACT: This is a stunning circa 1920s-1930s Bolivian Order of the Condor of the Andes Grand Officer neck badge. The blue-enameled Maltese cross has ball-tipped finials and Kantuta (cantua buxifolia) flowers between its arms. It hangs from an elaborate suspension in the form of a condor upon a green neck ribbon. Its face has a circular central medallion with the mountain of Potosi and a radiant gold sun in a blue sky encircled by a white enamel ring inscribed LA UNION ES LA FUERZA MCMXXV (Strength through Unity 1925); the reverse has a central red enamel medallion bearing the gilt letters RB (Republica Boliviano). The order was instituted on April 18, 1925 for civil and military merit and is Bolivias highest award. SIZE: Medallion: approximately 1-11/16 in height and 1-11/16 in width; ribbon: 31 in total length (including ties). CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Gilt silver, enamel, silk.
