I’m seeing these described as world War 1 and also as World War 2 so those more knowledgeable will know for sure. The helmet does have age appropriate wear the green paint. Condition as seen in photos. With all jewelry with stones, stones sizes and amounts are figured by calculation. (for an accurate total, you would have to remove the stones from the settings) During measurements there is some degree of calculation, so it is an approximation. In regards to our time pieces watches, clocks etc. We verify the condition when they leave our office and will be stated as working or not working. All working watches may still need to be professionally cleaned/serviced in order to keep time accurately. Each of our time pieces are vintage and used to a different degree. VINTAGE WORLD WAR 1 BRASS US ARMY “DOUGHBOY” PARADE HELMET W/ ORIGINAL STRAP & LINER. Wear consistent with age and use. Topside with distressed finish from water and age. Inside underside rim has distressed finish as well – tarnish and green corrosion action on brass. Strap leather with no tears and leather head banding is in great shape as well. C 1936, an original Spanish civil war leather tankers helmet. With liner, chin strap and insignia/badge. Very nice used condition, some wear for its age though.
