This is an original interwar 2nd division patch not to be confused with a WW1 5th marine patch of similar design. Patch was acquired a couple years ago by a 2nd Division collector on the US militaria forum. Patch does not glow under UV light.
This is a very fine example of a CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) button down shirt. It comes with the original patch, which I was able to find was from the construction of the Bead Lake Dam in Iowa. You can look it up and even find original pictures from the project itself. The original contract tag is cut out, but the tag with an NRA and Cotton Garment Authority tag is still present in the pocket. These shirts are rare but are even more rare with the patch still attached. The shirt and patch are in incredible shape for being nearly 100 years old with only a few small marks (see pictures). A really cool piece of Depression era history! Measurements: Length: 31 in P2p: 23 in Sleeve: 23 in.

1930s US Army 2nd Inf Div shoulder patch, felt on felt, measures 4 X 3.25 inches with embroidered Indian head well centered and NO glow and weighs 0.2 oz. This patch was definitely removed from a uniform because if you shine a flashlight behind the patch, you will be able to see the needle holds along the border.
