Vintage 1927 Nicaragua Managua US Marine Aviators Sun Glasses Goggles USMC. From the Estate of a US Marine Aviator who served in Nicaragua during 1927 to 1930. The frames are made of Bakelite and the lenses are Amber Glass. The wire rims have a leather covering over them. They are in excellent condition with only slight discoloration in the leather behind the ears. The Glass lenses are removable as there is an aluminum bracket on the top that appears if unhooked will release the lenses. I did not try to do this however. A Superb Kingdom of Yugoslavia Officers dagger and Scabbard. Very nice dagger in reasonable condition for its age. Dagger has a nickel-plated blade marked with a coat of arms and Oficirska Zadruga in cyrillic. Bass fittings show patina and the wire-wrapped grips retains approximately 50% of its covering over the wooden core. Bronze plated steel scabbard with brass fittings shows patina, with a chrome crest attached near the throat. Coat of arms of the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes. This is a good example of an early 20th Century German made Hunting Bowie Knife. It is mounted with a spear point blade that measures 8 1/4 inches in length which although remains very nice in its condition, does have surface staining to the polish. The blade wears the maker’s marking A. FEIST & Co SOLINGEN on one side of the ricasso. It wears a German silver cannon ball finial guard that nicely accentuates the beautiful and very healthy stag horn hilt grips. Overall the Knife measures 12 13/16 inches in length.
