It is a small size coat. Beautifully made as you can see in the photos. The following are the measurements: Across the back shoulder to shoulder 18. Back length from under the collar to the hem 45″, sleeve length from shoulder to wrist 24″, front under arm across to under arm 21. This is a great piece of memorabilia. Here is a British Guards regimental pattern frock coat from the early 1900s-30s, but could possibly be older. It’s in rather good condition for it’s age albeit missing one small tassel on the back which is common sadly with these antique frocks. The size is a 32R I’d say judging by the measurements. This would make an excellent collection piece and one I’ll be sad to lose but I need to thin out my own at the moment.
It is a Coat used by the Former Japanese army. What a Taisho era! Size 5, manufactured in 1920, stamped Main Army Clothing Arsenal. Size : 5 Size: Length 108 cm, chest 112 cm, shoulder width 47 cm, sleeve length 61 cm, neck circumference 48 cm.
