Antique European Bronze Hunting Sculpture Statue Signed’Möseritz’ with Pedestal Marble Base, measuring 10 1/4 inches top to bottom, 4 1/8 inch diameter across the marble base, 7 inches from the elbow to the end of the hunting rifle, and the bronze itself is 8 inches from the base to the top of the hat. Pre-WWII German Hunting Shooting Dagger, Hirschfanger Double Engraved w Scabbard
Pre-WWII German Hunting Shooting Dagger, Hirschfanger Double Engraved w Scabbard. Blade is unmarked but features etched hunting scenes on both sides. Item is used and has signs of wear. There are some scratches and scuffs on the hardware. Blade has a few areas with some light patina. Blade is sturdy and straight. Blade edge is not sharp. The bone handle is free of any chips or cracks. There is some damage around the edges of the acorn ornaments on the handle. Handle is secure and not loose. The decorative guard is loose. Scabbard brass has some scuffs and patina. The leather is in fair visual condition, but is dried out and the sewing is deteriorated on the back. Includes only items pictured. German Hunting Spear Point Bowie Knife Stag Horn Hilt A. Feist & Co Solingen
This is a good example of an early 20th Century German made Hunting Bowie Knife. It is mounted with a spear point blade that measures 8 1/4 inches in length which although remains very nice in its condition, does have surface staining to the polish. The blade wears the maker’s marking A. FEIST & Co SOLINGEN on one side of the ricasso. It wears a German silver cannon ball finial guard that nicely accentuates the beautiful and very healthy stag horn hilt grips. Overall the Knife measures 12 13/16 inches in length. This is a very nice example of a German Hirschfanger Dagger Short Sword which dates from the early 20th Century. It is mounted with a lovely straight beefy spearpoint blade that measures 9 3/4 inches in length by 1 1/4 inches at the widest. The blade has survived in beautiful, original condition with only some minor surface blemishes and continues to wear all of its nice markings on either side. It wears a nicely detailed straight German silver crossguard which frames an impressive stag horn hilt that fits well in the grip and features a beautiful silver escutcheon with the itinials of the original owner on one side. The deep rich dark green leather scabbard also remains in very nice original condition with just some wear to the leather finish on the tip. Overall measuring 16 1/8 inches in length.
