Nice very Rare original 100 yrs War or ww1 German Prussian Currasseur Metal Breast Plate over a century old! Approximately a medium size with polished steel outside and bronze/brass finish on the inside has Prussian Eagle motif on top of chest. Shows age and patina but no damage. Was imported by me 2 decades ago from Germany. You may never get a chance to complete your set again! Please see photos for condition.
Antique original prussian hussars death head badge. All tabs on back are intact, though have been used so slightly bent. Comes mounted in display case, but is easily removed. These typically sell for 400 to 500 with broken/missing tabs and much worse oxidation. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
An original, 1895 Prussian Reserve Officer, Pioneer Battalion Helmet Plate. Very fine quality with silver gilt finish. There is modest wear on the contact points and a dark spot on the lower right side of the eagle. The eagle has mounting holes for a reserve cross but there is np evidence that one was ever mounted. The threaded mounting posts along with the original washers and nuts are in place. From a 1960’s-70’s imperial Collection. This is an older strait blade police sword , with the Prussian dove head design. The maker marks are lightly been removed at one time. The leather scabbard is in above good condition , as is the German silver plating, on the throat of the scabbard, the d guard, the drag , and the dove head. This has initials on the frog as well as the name and the company of the person who captured it , but is hard to read. The blade is 25 1/4 inches long, and the scabbard has a stud to attach to the belt. If anyone knows what model or maker please past it on to me. This sword is 32 inches long, and has a slight dimple in the drag. The wooden grip is in above good condition , as is the blade, with the tinniest bit of rounding on the tip. The leather frog has some wear around the stud hole. The belt slide is strong, and the black leather scabbard in above good condition. Overall it is an honest original set that has that out of the attic look to it, not overly cleaned or restored.
