Contains over 113 photos and documents. Less than 10% are family photos the remainder being USMC marines in various period uniforms and activities. Henderson that arrived in Shanghai China on 2 May 1927 with Marines for the garrison there and remained in China for 6 months. The detachment was assigned to protect American Nationals in the war-torn China area. A great find for the USMC collector and historians.
