Broken Damaged Stained USMC Sterling Silver Thermometer Antique Souvenir Vtg

Broken USMC Sterling Silver Thermometer Antique Souvenir Vtg. The paper backing has heavy staining, appears to be water damage. The thermometer tube is broken on one end (appears to have happened long ago). Measures 3 in diameter. Front frame is marked Sterling and has a Shakespeare quote on the front bottom. The interior paper backing shows some kind of large base or group of buildings and has USMC on the bottom (the image is half-toned offset so not an actual photo but something that would have been printed on a press). The back or body of the thermometer appears to be something like a tin alloy. You can see how the front sterling frame is crimped or folded around the rim of the backing body. Front window is glass. — See photos for condition details. — I don’t have a way to arrange for a local pick-up of this item, I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
