OLD WW 1 ORIGINAL MUSEUM QUALITY BRASS SHELL FIRED FROM A LONG RANGE CANNON SOMETIME DURING WW 1…… I COULD BE WRONG, BUT THE BRASS SHELL CASING APPEARS TO BE A 37 MM AND MEASURES RIGHT AT 15 1/2 INCHES LONG X 3 1/2 INCHES WIDE. THE SHELL CASING HAS BEEN EMBOSSED ON ONE SIDE WITH THE STATUE OF LIBERTY, WHILE THE BACKSIDE IS FULL OF EMBOSSED STARS OF DIFFERENT SIZES….. 1930’s HB Rocket Goggles and medium leather cap with bill and strap. Goggles were made by HB Inc of Brooklyn NY. Goggles are made of heavy nickel frames and safety glass, face pads are soft and pliable. Light blue tint and Stryro-foam head is included. Original adjustable strap is intact and good condition. Used for aviation, auto and motorcycle racing thru WW2. Harry and Joseph Buegeleisen were brothers in a family business in Brooklyn NY in the early 1900’s. Harry started making goggles and leather jackets. Joseph branched out on his own to form Levi Strauss jeans and Buco leather products. Leather helmet S small has no brand. Foam head is included.
