Carl Zeiss Jena Dienstglas 6X30 German pre-war binoculars. The serial #1649151 would date these to 1935, according to the Camera-wiki website. Very good, vintage condition. The left eyecup has a sizeable chip in it (see last picture). It is removeable, so maybe a replacement can be found. There are some rubs to the black paint that reveals the brass underneath. If you have a MAJOR issue with your item being not as described, please contact me and I will attempt to work things out.

It also does have an un pluribus unum Eagle on sword face which confirms it was made for a USA officer. Infinity focus on this lens works fine when used on an analog film camera. If you intend to use it on a digital camera via an adapter, in most cases it should still work, however, there may be exceptions that are strictly dependent on the digital camera you are using and/or the adapter used to mount the lens.
Bought from local estate. First one of these I’ve had. Distinctive Weimar eagle, folding guard. Nice blade and hilt but could use a good cleaning. This one can be seen in Eichhorns 1930 catalog – #316. Please see my other auctions for more items from this estate and other estate military items. Thank you and good luck! As required by your country’s laws, they are not charged by me and I have no responsibility toward them.

Nedinscos Gravenhage Carl Zeiss Jena Deltrentis 8×30 binoculars, serial number: 1320095 , in good condition with signs of use on the body. The lenses are intact, no chips on them. Does not double the image. Includes the original case. The binoculars Nedinscos Gravenhage Carl Zeiss Jena Deltrentis 8×30 belong to the category of binoculars from the First and Second World Wars, they have been made over 90 years ago, they are a true rarity! The whole body of the binoculars is made of very hard alloy, it is extremely durable. These are Zeiss binoculars, made in the Netherlands during the First World War, with the Nedinsco’s Gravenhage inscription intact on the body, these are very rare binoculars, produced in limited quantities for the military at that time. Supposedly, no more than 3000 such binoculars were made! Currently, the binoculars are mostly suitable for collecting purposes, although the image seen through them is still sharp, due to the limitations of coating technology almost 100 years ago, the glass elements of the binoculars are not anti-reflective, so the image will not be as bright as in modern Zeiss binoculars. In spite of this, the class, rarity and quality, as well as the history of binoculars, are undeniable, despite hundreds of years with many historical and cultural fluctuations. Individual focusing, independent focusing on each side of the lens. Rangefinder and target size estimation. High quality optical glass in lenses and prism components.
