Very nice original 1937 dated German enlisted overcoat missing only the shoulder boards. Great shape for its age, most wear on the cuff edges, slight fading of color on the inner collar area. Has all buttons and hooks as seen. Ribbon still attached but loose on one end. Classic overcoat used but great shape. Most would be altered or destroyed during the war. This one appear is rare shape for early war impression. Cannot sell this to most countries that bar this from entering, sorry. Laws are too confusing and vague. There are no offensive symbols on the overcoat. I offer 3 day inspection n period with all my items. US Navy Officers Model 1852 Sword & Knot Scabbard Engraved & Name Inscribed. Up for sale is a vintage US Navy Officers Sword & scabbard that has an engraved blade and the officers name inscribed into the blade. The blade is stamped Made in USA but I dont see a makers mark – could be engraved in the blade. The blade width is 3/4 and the fish skin type handle is plastic, and the engraving and condition lead me to believe this was a sword from WWI or WWII. The scabbard is marked in a couple of places 84. The blade measures 28 1/2″ long with total length of sword being 34″. If you have any questions please contact me. This is a very nice example of a German Hirschfanger Dagger Short Sword which dates from the early 20th Century. It is mounted with a lovely straight beefy spearpoint blade that measures 9 3/4 inches in length by 1 1/4 inches at the widest. The blade has survived in beautiful, original condition with only some minor surface blemishes and continues to wear all of its nice markings on either side. It wears a nicely detailed straight German silver crossguard which frames an impressive stag horn hilt that fits well in the grip and features a beautiful silver escutcheon with the itinials of the original owner on one side. The deep rich dark green leather scabbard also remains in very nice original condition with just some wear to the leather finish on the tip. Overall measuring 16 1/8 inches in length. This is a very nice example of a well made War-Time Japanese Army Officer’s Shin Gunto Sword. It is mounted with a lovely oil tempered blade that wears a cutting edge which measures 26 3/8 inches in length and remains in near perfect condition. The blade also continues to wear its wonderful, actively wavy temper line that extends to the tip on either side. The tang wears the signature “Sukegawa SADAMITSU ” on one side. All the beautiful fittings remain very nice in their condition as well. The metal scabbard also remains very nice, reflecting only minimal wear. Overall measuring 40 inches in length. Dating Pre World War II, this is a beautiful set of three British General Officer Dress Jackets along with one Vest. There is one formal Jacket which remains very nice in its condition and features a gilded “pearl” trim that nicely coordinates with the vest and continues to wear the outstanding shoulder boards with decorative insignias on either side. There is one very small tear inside the collar on the black liner and very light mothing but no holes. The informal Jacket also wears its shoulder board with decorative insignias however their buttons are missing. This Jacket also has some light mothing but no holes and remains very nice as well. Both Jackets measure 17 inches across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam and both measure 22 inches from the top of the collar to the peak of their hem lines. ORIGINAL, RARE & VG Condition USMC Square Tip “Entrenching” Machete (Collins). The is an ORIGINAL (not one of the crummy reproductions) of the “Holy Grail” of the machetes issued to Marines prior to and during WWII. The square tipped “entrenching” or “intrenching” as M. Cole refers to it at page 40 of “Military Knives, Bayonets and Machetes, Book III” machete is a Collins No. The machete is in good used condition, with the wooden handle intact with all four rivets. It appears that the blade was deliberately “subdued” by bluing or black paint to reduce reflection. The scabbard is in good used condition too, but as often the case, the leather tip is damaged from dry rot (see images below). This is an increasingly rare item of “782” or “deuce” gear for the advanced Marine collector, which first shows up in the 1938 edition of the “Landing-Force Manual”.
