27 Press Photos 1932 China Shanghai Chapei Pre-WWII Occupation by Japanese. Nice lot of original press photos from early 1932, shortly after the Japanese began their brutal occupation of China. Most of them have the original paper captions- Many of the captions are torn off but theyre still present. A bunch of them show two images on one photo. One smaller photo has a bit of paper from another caption stuck to it but this could probably be removed. The very bottom photo might not be from China but it was with these when I got them. There are 8 photos at the bottom which are pasted on both sides of sheets of paper. Some photos are excellent others do have some wear/ missing corners. Really nice lot of ORIGINAL 1932 photos of one of the dark periods in China’s history. Most of them are 8X10 Includes some extra paper captions but I dont think any of the photos they belong with are here.

Optics are coated and very clear with no fogging. Body does show signs of age. Leather strap and case appears original to the binoculars — case in OK but rough shape with the back leather hinge torn so lid is separate.
This listing is for a RARE 1932 United States Naval Academy Annapolis Class Pin Sterling Tie Clip Bar. This tie clip is 2 1/2″ x 11/16″. It is in very good condition for it’s age. Chapeau, Epaulettes, Belt in the Original Tin. USNA Class of 1935. A very nice grouping! In the original Tin case. The latch was broken off/removed at one time lost the key? , but they kept the latch fixings inside and the key is present. Chapeau is in used condition, showing some wear of the fur in many places (it was well used). Silk inside is intact showing spotting/staining (view all photos). I cannot find a maker for the hat on it. Creasing all along the hat band (see photos). The epaulettes are in very good, but used condition – some spotting on the gold tops (see photos), stamped “Made in France” underneath on the hook areas. The Belt is also there and is in very good / but used condition, showing wear and use as would be typical. The Tin is very nice overall, hinges working nicely, the black paint is scratched all over due to use, storage, and time, as well as having an “HCL” painted on the top and a large stain/dirt area. It needs a gentle cleaning. The key to the case is affixed to the handle by a WWII era shoe-lace. View all photos for condition. Original pre-WWII US Army officers dress cap. Typical 1920s /1930s color wool gabardine construction with stiff leather visor, officer wool mohair and leather chinstrap. Comes with original officer badge on the front. Nice identification tag attached to the leather sweatband. Good condition with light wear. Vtg US Pre-WWII Equipment Bag. Vintage US pre-WWII equipment bag that measures about 30″ x 20″ at the longest points. It is a very large duffel type bag with buckles on the back and straps that go over the top. The bag is very dirty with lots of stains and spots all over. A lot of the stains look like water stains or possibly mud stains, but it is basically covered with them. The hardware is a bit discolored and blackened and the bottom left strap is coming loose a bit at the top seams. Please look through photos to get a good idea of overall condition.
