RARE 1929 SECRET Yellow Plan Hawaiian Div Schofield Barracks China Expedition
Up for sale is a rare, original multi-document packet from the U. Marked “SECRET” throughout, this is the “Yellow Plan” – one of the interwar color-coded war contingency plans for potential U. Expeditionary operations in China (protecting interests amid unrest, akin to Boxer Rebellion scenarios). 10-page printed Yellow Plan with handwritten edits, signed by Capt. & Adjutant Frank W. 10-page carbon copy of the main plan. Annex 1: Unit Plan Special Troops Hawaiian Division (1929 Revision) – 6-page printed + 6-page carbon. Annex 2: 3-page printed + 3-page carbon. Total 44 pages detailing personnel, equipment incl. Gas masks, woolens, rations, troop lists e. 22nd Infantry Brigade, 4th Artillery, 65th Service Regiment, mission for China Relief Expedition, activation procedures, and more. From the estate of Capt. Halsey (Adjutant, Hawaiian Division). These highly classified plans were withdrawn by 1939 and are seldom found in private hands – a unique piece of pre-WWII Pacific strategy history. Condition: Aged paper with some insect damage/fading (one paragraph partially unreadable), rusted clip marks removed, but overall legible and intact. No reproductions – authentic 1930s mimeo/printed originals. Perfect for militaria collectors, WWII historians, or museums interested in color-coded war plans (Yellow for China).

This rare lot of original U. Army ephemera from the Hawaiian Department includes multi-page documents from the Signal Company at Schofield Barracks, dated December 27, 1930, detailing requests and directions for sending “ALOHA NUI LOA” Christmas greetings via radio to recipients on the mainland e. Features typed recipient lists with names, addresses, and messages, filed by Capt. Halsey of the Special Troops. Also included is a 1929 circular from Fort Shafter on personal radio holiday greetings, outlining procedures and special message forms.

1928 Aloha Smoker 27th Infantry Schofield Barracks January 14th Boxing Program, 1928 Major General William R. Smith – In very good condition – please see photos. Appears to be released by the 27th Infantry Press, inside consists of a bio/story about the Commander of the Hawaiian Department (US Army) and a brief update on sports activities plus local advertising. Appears that the “Smoker” was a local boxing event for the barracks. A Smoker was a social event and could be everything from a mixer to a boxing event as this one is. Both the 27th infantry as well as Schofield Barracks are still in existance today.

1920’s Marine Corps Enlisted Barracks Cover Original EGA RARE WWII Post WWI USMC
For your consideration is this scarce, 1920’s Era United States Marine Corps Enlisted Alpha Service Cover. It’s being offered by us, as found, uncleaned. The leather band, buttons, and leather bill are all in very good condition. The included EGA is original to the period and appears original to the cover as well. The inside leather band is in very good condition, but retains approximately half the original stitching, which is very common with covers this old. There is also a moth bite on the top about the size of a pin head. This is a very scarce, transitional period cover, and is one of the nicer examples we’ve seen for sale. Overall, this cover is a true survivor, and if you’re looking for a museum piece or want to top off a period uniform, this fantastically preserved piece has no issues, and is ready to be displayed proudly. Size is 7 1/4. Note – the side buttons are secured using pins as apposed to the later screw in button system. The first reasonable offer will add this spectacular looking time-capsule to their collection. No disappointments, this piece is a gem.
