US Navy Dress Uniform – WWI era to pre WWII. This complete set includes the gold fringe epaulettes, bicorn hat, sword belt, hat and epaulette box, and dress jacket (owned by a different officer than the epaulette set). It also includes the dress sword, although newer but correct regulation sword. The initials of the navy officer who owned the hat, epaulettes and belt is on the box. The bicorn hat and epaulettes were standard uniform for officers pre-WWII. Excellent condition and guaranteed original pre WWII Japanese army Type 32 sword that is the Otsu model with a 30 ½ blade. Issued to all NCOs and men in the Military police and transportation corps, and all master sergeants in the infantry, engineers, and artillery. Sword is complete with matching numbered scabbard. Has the Tokyo Arsenal marking on the blade and dated Taisho 15 for 1925. Blade has beautiful original bright finish and still has original leather washer at the base. Remaining metal finish is original blue showing light wear. The finger loop has been removed. Wooden grip has original finish and no damage. Scabbard latch functions fine. Matching numbered steel scabbard has nice original blue metal finish showing light wear and a few dents. A really nice Type 32 sword with matching numbers! Description: This is a German Scope for a Mauser K98. The finish is without rust and in pretty good condition. There is a ding on the front, but the glass remains unbroken. The glass is a bit foggy as would be associated with an almost 100 year old scope. Claw mounts are included. Also included is a carrying case which I believe is orginal to the scope. This is a nice example of a Japanese Army Officer’s Shin Gunto Sword that dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a hand-forged blade which wears a cutting edge that measures 26 3/4 inches in length. The blade remains healthy with some minor surface blemishes and a few tiny nicks to the cutting edge, nevertheless is in nice condition and boasts a lovely large straight temper line that extends to the tip on either side. The well signed tang wears two characters which translate to ” MASAYASU “. The hilt and all the fittings remain nice. The green lacquered scabbard remains nice as well with just some minor scuffs. POLAND POLISH REGIMENTAL CIGARETTE CASE, STERLING, Maker hallmarks. 4.5 ounces, 3 by 4 inches. Awarded to a medical officer of the Australian Royal Army Medical Corps. He served with the Polish scorpion regiment known as the 4th Armored Regiment at Monte Cassino and in the Middle East. His initials MK are inside the case. This recipient was awarded this presentation case upon departure from the regiment after the end of the war. Such presentations are a tradition in the Polish Armed Forces as a token of great esteem and appreciation for services to the regiment by the commanding officer. Very rare Polish militaria. The front of the case has two British Medical corps insignia, a mini Jerusalem Cross, sterling scorpion and a mini Polish 2nd Corps badge. This item could be research to identify the recipient.
