The Latvian Aviation Regiment (also referred to as the air division) was the primary military aviation force. Active members wore a distinguished flying badge surmounted by the Latvian fire cross, or ugunskrusts, connected to a chain holding a hovering eagle. The badge was in gold for officers, silver for NCO Also. Order of the Three Stars Triju Zvaigznu ordenis.
