This is an original WWII Japanese signed Naval flag. It has several signatures with good luck wishes. Measures 30 by 43 inches, has some stains and a few holes in the flag, but it still displays great. All our items come from estate sales, yard sales, flea markets or places that we have traveled. All Japanese items come directly from Japan. I lived in Japan for 8 years and collected several nice pieces. Feedback will be left once feedback is received. Vintage antique Nurnberg beer mug ceramic stein WW1 Imperial German Lowenbrau 1L. Here is your chance to own a very nice ceramic beer mug. This example in honor of the city of Nuremberg, Germany is complete with a Lowenbrau lid that I believe is made from pewter. This is a 1 Liter example and is marked as such. On the underside I see the numbers 1526, as well as L. There is also a stamp of VILLEROY&BOCH – METTLACH “Made in Sarr-Basin” on the underside as well. The lid, while also completely original, may be mated to this mug as there is a break and former repair near the upper part of the handle. There is minimal crazing to the ceramic and it is very nice overall. The piece including the lid handle stands at over 9-1/4″ high while the mug itself is 7-5/8″ tall. The diameter at the base is 4-3/16 wide. In excellent condition overall. Extremely detailed and g. I never grade my items as mint, even though may be. This is a lovely example of a Japanese Imperial Naval Dagger, 1883 Pattern. It is mounted with a beautiful machine made grooved blade that measures 8 3/8 inches in length which remains in very nice condition with only some minor surface blemishes. It wears lovely decorative fittings which include a wonderfully detailed high relief “sakura” pommel all framing an attractive “samé” covered hilt that remains very healthy and tight. The outstanding scabbard is lacquer shagreen covered and remains very healthy as well with just some light wear and is mounted with beautiful coordinating fittings.
