Czech M30 helmet used in the Spanish civil war (SCW). These helmets were made in the Czech Republic specific for export purposes. The Republican Army and the International Brigades in Spain used these helmets in the Spanish civil war. The helmet is in fair condition and has the original paint from SCW. I repainted the rusty spots. The chin strap is repaired, the liner comes from an other Czech helmet. Have a look at the pictures and see my other ads as well please! This is the real deal, NOT a reproduction. These were made by a variety of furniture makers and other subcontractors. These came in different dimensions and sizes per whomever was doing the ordering (police, FBI, etc) so there is no cookie cutter blueprint on these. This one features a black faux? Leather exterior and chrome plated corner protectors showing some rust, blue felt lining very nice albeit dirty in spots, also has original brass cleaning rod, one brush along with a key for the lock. Cleaning rod snap works and is intact. All exterior latches work and are marked USA Excelsior, Stamford, Conn. Main lock has rocket type logo on it and works. As expected, the felt is dirty and shows signs of wear along with small rips inside from drum magazine and other use. Reserve has been decided and set only after speaking to a few other experts. Genuine Named Post WW1 Navy Good Conduct Medal NR. This is a genuine, 1928 vintage, US Navy Good Conduct medal. It was issued to Harry Chas. Spencer, on June 12, 1928. He served on the USS Pittsburgh. Ribbon and medal are in excellent condition. The ribbon is free of stains, rips or tears. The medal has no dings or dents and shows realatively little wear. This Good Conduct medal would go well in a collection, or for an inter-war era uniform restoration. Please do not pay until you receive an invoice.
