Up for your consideration is this magnificent bust of Marshal Józef Pisudski. The head turned en face, with the characteristic image of the marshal – bushy eyebrows and a lush mustache. Uniform with marshal’s distinctions, girded with a large ribbon Virtuti Militari, numerous decorations on the chest, among others star of the Order of the Legion of Honor, VM, badge of the First Brigade. Below is an ocean liner and several more details on the backside. The bust stands 9-1/4 tall and is in very good condition with wear, no big chips or cracks. Benito mussolini bronze pre ww2 bust statue
This is an original, pre-WWII, cast bronze bust of Benito Mussolini. Manufactured by the italian artist Eduardo Rossi. Correctly marked on the rear right side. On its original marble base, The overall height is just over 10″, the bronze itself measures about 8″. The model is quite early’1920’s’ as Mussolini is depicted in his civilian suit, tie and wing collar shirt. He also has a fair amount of hair. The bronze has a dark brown patina which shows only a few rubs to his coat. The metal is in excellent shape with no dents or dings, but is still in low excellent condition.
