Original Imperial Japanese 1933 Manchukuo National Foundation Medal. Very nice original item. Instituted by the Japanese puppet government of Manchukuo in 1933 and presented to those who performed meritorious service in the foundation of the new nation. THE SOLID BRONZE EMBLEM WAS DESIGNED BY SCULPTOR ADOLPH ALEXANDER WEINMAN OF NEW YORK CITY UNDER SUPERVISION OF THE COMMISSION OF FINE ARTS. ONE OF THE ORIGINAL VERY SMALL EYE SCREWS THAT HOLD THE ORIGINAL BRASS CHAIN TO THE SOLID OAK PLAQUE ON THE REVERSE HAS SNAPPED OFF AND COULD EASILY BE REPLACED.

Fatherland Front patriotic right-wing organization. Made in bronze with gold wash. Dated 25 July 1934. Portrait of Engelbert Dollfuss on the observe in dress uniform with Alpine collar tabs. It advocated Austrian nationalism and independence from Germany on the basis of protecting Austria’s Catholic religious identity from what they considered a Protestant-dominated German state.

Turnout in the election was officially 99.6% with 99.1% voting’yes’ in Germany and Austria. PRINTED IN GERMANY CIRCA APRIL 1938. In a gigantic advance the standard of living of the German people improved.
