ORIGINAL – PRE-WW2 FINAL GERMAN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS of 1938 BROADSIDE. ORIGINAL and IMPORTANT HISTORIC POLITICAL PRE-WW2 FINAL GERMAN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS of 1938 BROADSIDE. Parliamentary elections were held in Germany (including recently annexed Austria) on 10 April 1938. They were the final elections to the Reichstag during German Fascist political rule and took the form of a single-question referendum asking whether voters approved of a single list of Fascist and pro – Fascist guest candidates for the 814-member Reichstag as well as the recent annexation of Austria. Turnout in the election was officially 99.6% with 99.1% voting’yes’ in Germany and Austria. ONE OF THE ORIGINAL LIGHTLY USED BROADSIDES THAT WERE HANDED OUT IN GERMANY LEADING UP TO THE GERMAN PARLIAMENTARY ELECTIONS of 1938. THE TEXT OF THE BROADSIDE HIGHLIGHTS SOME POINTS THE WW2 GERMAN LEADER HAD DONE FOR THEM IN THE TIME FROM 1932 TO 1937. Some of the bold faced Headlines, Blurbs and Highlights roughly translated from the Broadside. The leader does what he does! In a gigantic advance the standard of living of the German people improved. Enormous successes have been achieved in all areas. He created new Wermacht! He led 6 1/2 million German Austrians into the Reich! Which statesman thought of looking back on an almost similar great achievement? Because the leader always keeps what he promises, you do at least what you can by giving him your trust. All of Germany in good faith set off on April 10th to him and fine value with: Yes! This is from a set the government had discarded that was ostensibly the original artwork for the designing of the crests for the 48 State National Guard units and our associated territories. They are all original watercolors on board and are in varying condition and the time frame they were done was the 1920’s to the 1940’s and the dates are in the corners with the sign off of the relevant officer of the quartermaster general’s office. These are one of a kind design proofs for the State Guard unit crests and are extremely well done and executed. I do not know who this artist is. This design was approved by the Quartermaster’s department in 1926. It is in good condition with minor corner wear. The size is about 8″ x 10″. I focus on happy repeat customers and love what I do and try to ensure all customers are happy. I do not stay glued to my computer and have a real job so please do not expect instantaneous answers. I specialize in paper, photos, coins and militaria. I sell about anything except reproductions. If it is not old, I say so. If there is a defect, I also say so. ORIGINAL & VERY GOOD Condition 1930’s Air Corps Silver Bullion Pilot’s Wings. These are an ORIGINAL BULLION thread silver wings or qualification badge awarded to Air Corps pilots upon their graduation from their flight training during the 1930’s. The wings are in VERY GOOD overall condition, with minor signs of tarnishing, and show no indications of having been previously sewn on a pilot’s blouse. Here’s a chance for the aviation collector or re-enactor to obtain a great pair of bullion wings for the collection or restoration of a whipcord blouse of the period for little more than I paid 30 years ago. PLEASE NOTE: The insignia will be mailed in a first class No. I’m a militaria collector like you and I do this as a sideline to my own collecting. Nonetheless, I’ll handle your order in a business-like and professional manner. Thanks for your business! ORIGINAL, RARE & VG+ Cond. KHAKI Cotton Twill M1926 Officer's Blouse & Breeches
ORIGINAL, RARE & VG+ Cond. KHAKI Cotton Twill M1926 Officer’s Blouse & Breeches. This is an increasingly RARE, regulation M1926 khaki cotton twill uniform, worn beginning in the mid-1920’s to Army and Air Corps officers, as worn in the Philippines and the Canal Zone. The summer blouse is distinguishable from the winter version by the use of cotton twill fabric, rather than brown wool gabardine twill. The uniform was likely “bespoke”, since I was unable to find any QM tags in it. It also has four small snaps on the left shoulder (see image below), so the unit insignia, likely round in shape, could be removed for laundering. There isn’t a name tag or Army Serial Number marked in the blouse, just a partially legible laundry mark which reads RBF -. The blouse also has “pockets” on the back for the detachable Sam Browne Belt hangers (not included) in the outside seam of the waist and all of the original brass buttons, held by “split rings”, which could be removed for laundering (see images below). The actual measurements of the blouse are as follows: Chest: 18″; Sleeve Length: 24″; Shoulder Width: 16″; Waist: 15.5″ and Overall: 32.5. The waist of the riding breeches is 30″ with an additional 2″ to let out in the waist. The other measurements of the breeches are as follows: Hips: 26″; Inseam: 25″; Ankle Cuffs: 10″; and Overall: 39″. This RARE uniform is in VERY GOOD+ condition. It will be a great addition to a collection or the uniform of a reenactor who demands the very best, ready to have his rank and any additional insignia applied to it. Please scroll downward to see the remaining twenty images! I’m a militaria collector like you and I do this as a sideline to my own collecting.
