Is Naval stamped with rare Weimar naval marking. Size is 1.0 meter by 1.7 meter. Has rare blue marking across top of hoist (most are black). Heavy stitching and reinforced corners as shown. Some mothing but nothing too large and doesn’t detract from the flag as colors are still bright and vibrant.

In addition to the anniversary celebrations organized by the Central Administration of the NKVD of the RSFSR, various anniversaries and memorable dates were widely celebrated and celebrated locally in the republican departments of the NKVD. Some of them established and issued anniversary award signs. Thus, in Ukraine in 1926, the 5th anniversary of the formation of the investigative and criminal police was also marked with special silver and gold icons. (The regulation “On the criminal investigation bodies and judicial-criminal police” was approved by the People’s Commissariat of Justice on May 11, 1919, but the structure was finally formed by the end of 1921, when 12 provincial departments, 87 county departments, 131 cities began to function on the territory of Ukraine criminal investigation table). This striking piece is in very good condition with very little visible damage to the enamel. Age spots are visible in the whites and there is a small chip located within the red star as well as a couple enamel bubbles along the right side. These are very small and the bubbles may be original. An aged patina is visible on the reverse as well as on the obverse in the small areas between letters and on the screw plate. I personally haven’t seen an example of these two pictured together. I have not applied the burn test to check for authenticity (age). However, I have tried to include photos that accurately represent how it looks to the eye. Ultra violet pics included to show lack of modern repairs to the enamel. If you would like to see any specific part in fine detail just reach out to me and I’d be happy to provide additional photos! The reference book pictured. Antique Hussar/Fireman Brass helmet. Lightweight brass helmet for a small head. Two crude copper patches and repair to bill. The badge on front appears to have been possibly added later but looks really old. Missing Chin straps and side ornaments. Overall with nice patina appearing to be an authentic helmet of some sort to me. Years of built up polish residue. I’ve had this for awhile but have a baby on the way very soon so I’m forced to make decisions about things I was unsure of, I’d be grateful for any info. It did come from a collection of worldwide weapons, armory, and many other interesting items.
Estate sale find, vintage original photo, Patrol Headquarters at Wharf in Puerto Cortes, Honduras, circa 1920’s. The Banana Wars were a series of conflicts that consisted of military occupation, police action, and intervention by the United States in Central America and the Caribbean between the end of the Spanish-American War in 1898 and the inception of the Good Neighbor Policy in 1934. Honduras, where the United Fruit Company and Standard Fruit Company dominated the country’s key banana export sector and associated land holdings and railways, saw insertion of American troops in 1903, 1907, 1911, 1912, 1919, 1924 and 1925. Henry coined the term “Banana republic” in 1904 to describe Honduras. Lucky Bag 1932 United States Naval Class Book Year Log 1932. For this Book to be 91 years old it is in great condition. I bought this at an estate sale so i don’t know a whole lot about it, but I thought it might mean the world to someone else out there. The pages are all intact, no rips or tears. There is a slight wave on the bottom corners, may at one point had a little something spilled, or rained on.. I did list photos of the area i’m talking about, it’s the last 2 photos listed. It is quite a heavy book. I hope this book makes it to that one person it was meant to be with :.
