USMC Flag and other items China Marines 1930s Reproduction Flag
This is a reproduction guidon used by the U. Marines – Mounted Detachment in China during the 1930s. In the lower right corner of the frame is a photograph of the original guidon, which is on display U. Naval yard in Washington D. Also in the frame is a reproduction leather patch, 6 inches in diameter of the same era, also dealing with the mounted Marines. Richard Bonham, which shows the flag on page 57. The other book is a self published piece, The China Marine written by Clem D. Russell dealing with his time in China, 1930 – 1932 with the American Legation Guard. The book was written by Mr. Russell and typed by him and “xerox” copies were made of the book. Russell and only photo copies now exist. This collection is in a frame and the price only reflects the value of the collection not the frame, the frame as free. Original Vet Acquired German WWII Dagger Blade with Matching Pommel Nut and one other part as seen in pictures. Needle-point bright blade is maker marked M7/40/41 showing some very mild peppering from age and a very light nick to lower cutting edge, otherwise it’s in very nice condition overall. Comes with it’s original (plated type) matching pommel nut and its original grip button as seen in pictures. WW2 german 3 relic tunics good for repairs or patching up other
Original WW2 german lot of 3 that were most likely left unprotected in a storage shed or attic and almost destroyed by moths. Also has musty smell from being in a damp area. One is early m36 well other are m40 tunics. One has buttons , others missing insignia and buttons. You can see where they were. All has issued markings, stains. One could clean and patch up one tunic with the others, or use parts to restore those post war altered or Russian costume house altered ones with the collars, pockets, etc… Still good for a display or restore… I offer 3 day inspection period with all my items.
