WWI-WWII Military Original Cavalry officer sword/sable frog, stamped, and made from saddle leather. Cavalry sword was carried in a hanger attached to horse saddle, but since cavalry sword also belonged to dress uniform of cavalry soldier, they also needed to be carried attached to soldiers belt when needed Can be used for carrying sword attached to belt. One of the straps is a little ripped….. Please see the last picture. A remarkably well preserved piece of WWI / WWII saddlery here, one that I’m sure that would be of interest to cavalry enthusiasts. Part is in very good condition for its age……… This item could have some imperfections and wear because of use and the age of more than 70 years. But this enhances its historical value.
