Here is a very rare piece of US Navy history. This is a collection of design blueprints from when the Navy was creating their first parachutes. There are eight blueprints and a 1925 report on the US Army method of packing parachutes. The Navy mandated chutes to be worn beginning in 1924. Some of the blueprints include handwritten changes along with a signature. The blueprints have been folded and show some wear including small tears and discoloration. Included is a canvas pouch.
