British B5 WW1 Brown ankle boot available in rough and smooth side. We take US & German shoe size only. This is a replica of the British Military combat boot that was worn by the British Army in World War One. It is a brown leather ankle boot with a leather sole which was studded with metal studs. The uppers are a heavy leather with the rough side out which is also oiled. It is distinctive due to its square toe shape. The B5 boot was used throughout the Great War (from 1914) by the British Army including the BEF and Kitchener’s Army so was worn at all the major battles of WW1 like the Somme.
