This is a vintage pair of aviator’s goggles with their aluminum case. The label on the strap is marked: E. The goggles have glass lenses and the bridge piece has an emblem with wings and the logo for American Optical Co. Was told by an ebayer that the mark was used on the goggles till 1929. The strap end hooks were bent slightly to remove them from the goggles. The aluminum case is 8 5/8″ long, 3″ wide and 1 3/4 high. It is marked “Aviator’s Goggle”. Someone had scratched “Simmie” onto the lid. The goggles are missing the inside padding.
