Old pre-WW2 Regular Army. This design was only used May-September 1928! Not hallmarked; screwback fastener. Genuine, not a restrike.
This model was designed in two variations: with decorative crest (of French Adrian style) and with 2×7 holes airvents (of German style) – this type. Rare variant – type with 2×7 holes airvents.
I’ve collected USMC shooting badges for decades and have never seen another BB&B second pattern (1915 to present) expert badge. I’ve owned several BB&B rifle expert badges, and several BB&B “colt” (pre 1915) pistol badges, but cannot even find record of another of these online.
Very rare, 1936 model. Early type, with kersey. Later models was made from canvas top. After Winter war Soviet authorities issued simpler and less heavyrucksack and these were stopped to manufacture.

1930’s Military Airship Pilot, full size, marked, perhaps “yj” or “ph” (depending on how you view the Hallmark) in a Pentagon and sterling. This is a lovely pattern from the era of flying balloons and airships. This item weighs 0.7 oz.
