ORIGINAL, RARE & MINT Zippered TSMG Carrying Case For Half Tracks & Tanks. The tag on the twine securing the Kraft paper wrapper for the case states that it was “G147 Half Track Spare Parts” with the stamped nomenclature. The case is in beautiful UNISSUED condition, just as I bought it 31 years ago! The case has three female “durable Dot” snaps on leather “hinges” for attachment to the male snaps inside the half track’s armored sides. It has a full-length zippered compartment for the TSMG. The zipper is of the “heavy duty” type and is completely functional. The canvas material is in MINT original condition without any blemishes, dry rot or any other defects. It still has that great “surplus store” odor in the canvas that I remember from my youth! This is an excellent opportunity for the advanced half track owner or TSMG collector to obtain an increasingly rare piece of gear in MINT condition for the half track or his collection. 1920-30’s Airship Pilot’s wing marked Sterling, full size, pin back, no maker’s mark. This is the traditional design authorized by regulation and a copy of the design authorized by the Government when they created the “From Official Die” concept in the mid 20’s. I believe this is a Bailey, Banks & Biddle wing-for certain it’s their pattern. Don’t let this one slip by! It’s a good deal at this price.
