ARTIFACT: This is a rare pair of Willson goggles for the United States Navy from the 1930s. They come in the original rectangular black case, which has a Willson label at one end and also one lining the interior. SIZE: 2-1/16 height and 9-1/4 width and 3-13/16 depth. CONSTRUCTION/MATERIALS: Glass lenses, plated brass hardware and rims, cotton strap, sponge rubber lining, cloth-covered cardboard case, cotton batting. ATTACHMENT: Cloth band with sliding buckles; snap closure on case. MARKINGS: WR and WL on lenses; S. COOK written on band; S. COOK written on Willson Pilot Goggle label on end of box. PRE WW II ITALIAN M 33 ECUADOR ARMY & PERUVIAN 1941 WAR HELMET / DECAL. EXTREMELY SCARCE AND RARE!! ORIGINAL ITALIAN M 33 HELMET. WITH DECAL – NATIONAL COCKADE – YELLOW, BLUE AND RED COLOURS. THESE HELMETS WERE SOMETIMES DECORATED WITH THE NATIONAL COCKADE. WHEN ITALY JOINED THE AXIS POWERS IN 1940 , WASHINGTON BEGAN PRESSURING THE GOVERNMENT IN QUITO , AND QUANTITIES OF US MILITARY EQUIPMENT BEGAN ARRIVING. IN THE YEAR 1941, IN THE WAR BETWEEN ECUADOR AND PERU , THE PERUVIAN TROOPS INVADED ECUADOR AND DURING THIS WAR THE ITALIAN HELMETS WERE EXTENSIVELY USED. AFTER 1942 THE US DELIVERED QUANTITIES OF THE M 1917 A1 HELMET , WHICH BRIEFLY BECAME THE OFFICIAL HELMET OF THE ECUADORIAN ARMY. From an old estate, here is a very nice IMPERIAL REICHSMARINE GERMAN NAVAL DAGGER. Nice fire gold glit hilt finish with open crown pommel and scarce 1919 style crossguard with fouled anchors on both sides and has red felt washer. Celluloid over wood gold wire wrapped grip that has no damage. 7 7/8 inch double fullered polished blade is in excellent condition with no nicks or sharpening. Scabbard has scarce reefer knot bands and is dent free. Reichsmarine Knot is in super condition with no freying (hard to find in this condition).
