Since some people want to play God and erase history instead of having the future leaders learn from the mistakes of the past, they prefer to hide it or censor the worlds past. But we all know what it is and there is no damage under the blurs, if you want to see it uncensored this is listed on craigslist at Pittsburgh Pa. This is in great clean shape, the braids are still intact around the handle, has some small nicks and scratches, and a small dent at bottom of scabbard, i only wiped this with a rag and did no other type cleaning, i would leave that to new owner. There is no name on blade that i can find, i was told that is normal and there were dagger made that had no name. Great collectible of military German items.
