I’m really proud to introduce this very rare example of history and war – on of the first soviet gas masks GP-2. Unique looking and very rare nowadays, extremely hard to find. This one is a first type (early issue) of GP-2 with the eye-lenses attached to the mask with the tape and not stitched as in a later issue of 1930s. The mask made from canvas and leather, head straps made from fabric and are in bad condition due to long storage. In few places (please see pictures), the face part still in very good condition and there is only some minor tear and rust from storage. It will be a real proud and a top-shelf item for any gas mask collector, or ww2 military collector. Well worth of investing as well as this model is extremely rare on the market. IMPERIAL RUSSIA ORDER OF ST. MILITARY, COMMANDER, (St Stanislaw) , GOLD medal, cross, makers hallmarks to Eduard, superb enamels, very rare 3rd class. Established first by the Kingdom of Poland and after the Partition by the three world powers, the Czar nationalized it as a Russia the Order of the White Eagle as well as The Order of the Virtuti Militiari in 1831 and the Order of St Stanislaw. St Stanislaw is the national saint of Poland. His body is entombed in a silver casket on top of the alter at the Wawel Castle Cathedral in Krakow. A most beautiful work of art. The Russians gave out thousands of these orders and they are available on the market for its gold content, however the Polish version has not been seen for sale for over fifty years in any class.
