Very good condition and guaranteed original US Model 1905 bayonet. Marked RIA on the left side of the blade and dated 1919 with a flaming bomb proof mark. Right side ricasso is marked US with a serial number. Blade has nice original blue metal finish. Remaining metal finish is mixed plum brown, brown, and gray. Grips have added varnish finish. Lock button functions fine. Fitted in an original Model 1917 Enfield leather scabbard. This was considered an acceptable substitute during WWI. Leather shows some wear, stitching and rivets are nice and tight. A scarce RIA 1919 M1905 bayonet for your collection.
