Antique Pre-WW II Military German Army Helmet Industrial Wood Mold Made In Spain
Antique Pre-WW II – WW II, rare to find, German helmet industrial, hard wood mold template, made in Spain. Indent marked on base piece, in the center: “VAILESTIN MADRID”, (photos 2 & 3). Ink stamped number “7” on each piece. Indent numbers: “110”, “59”, and “57”. Other hand penciled numbers. Bottom portion has two steel posts. On the base of each piece, there are 3 drilled holes, (last 2 photos). 3, uniform spaced nail heads, on each side. Measures 10 1/4″L X 8 1/2″W X 6 3/4H. Very Nice Japanese Army Officer Shin Gunto Stainless Steel Sword
This is an extremely nice example of a Japanese Army Shin Gunto Officer’s Sword which dates from the World War II Era and is mounted with a blade by Kanenaga who was known for his fine, well made stainless steel blades. This lovely blade wears a cutting edge that measures 25 1/2 inches in length. The blade has survived in beautiful original condition with only some very minor surface scratches and a couple of very tiny nicks along the cutting edge. The tang is signed with a signature that translates to Fujiwara Kanenaga Motte? Seitan saku kore and on the other side? Tasugi Shinichi (most likely the name for whom it was made). Kanenaga is also known as the originator of stainless steel blades. The beautiful nice quality Military fittings all remain in very nice, clean condition as well. The LIGHTWEIGHT textured wooden scabbard also remains near perfect in its condition with just a couple of very tiny chips to the finish. Overall measuring 39 inches in length. Nice Japanese Officer Police Sword
This is a very good example of a Japanese Police Lieutenant Level Sword which dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a machine made blade that measures 23 1/2 inches in length which remains in very nice original condition with only some minor surface blemishes. The beautifully detailed guard wears the Police emblem (16-Ray Badge) on the backstrap near the pommel as well as very nice, intricately detailed leafy designs with cherry blossoms. The lovely hilt is nicely fishskin wrapped that shows a little good honest wear, nevertheless its original twisted wire wrap does remain tightly in place. The plated metal scabbard also reflects a bit of wear to its plating but does remain in nice serviceable as well and has no dings. Overall measuring 31 3/8 inches in length. Very Nice Italian Air Force Officer Sword
This is a very nice example of an Italian Air Force Dress Sword that dates from the World War II Era. It is mounted with a very nice straight, fullered blade that measures 30 1/4 inches in length. The blade is beautifully etched with bright blue and gold on either side, is marked by the maker E & F Hörster Solingen on the ricasso and remains in superb original condition. The lovely cup guard is in the motif of a full eagle’s wing with the pommel in the image of an eagle’s head and remains in nice tight condition. The black painted wooden hilt reflects a little wear to the painted finish, otherwise remains nice as well and the original twisted wire wrap is still securely in place. The metal scabbard is leather covered and beautifully fitted with the top fitting featuring the Air Force emblem. German Officers and non-commissioned Officers Air Force Complete Dagger 1937. The blade is steel, straight, flat, hexagonal. Two cutting edges polished, no heel. The handle is round, wooden, plastic-topped orange. By spiral grooves handle wrapped with wire. At the bottom of a cylindrical sleeve, decorated with ornaments made of oak leaves. Spherical head handle, molded together with the upper nut. Decorated on both sides of the relief image of a swas and an ornament from oak leaves. The head is screwed onto the blade shank and has a flat circular top a button. Cross-cast, from the front side in the form of a flying eagle carrying a swas in its claws. On the reverse side has a cross dotted background. All metal parts are cast from aluminum hilt. The scabbard is made of metal, solid, surface covered with small dots.
