WW2 Dutch steel helmet M38 in original condition. This is a helmet of the Dutch troops as used against the German invadors in may 1940. It was manufactured in the Netherlands by “Artillerie Inrichtingen” or “Verblifa”. A slight different than its predecessor, the M27. The helmet misses its Art Deco Bronze emblem representing the Arms of the Netherlands. It was removed in fear of perforation at that spot. Laer used in the NVL (air defence club) of Groningen.
