Original German WWII Chained Dagger Scabbard and Blade
Original vet acquired German WWII Chained Dagger Parts including scabbard and blade. Text book example of a late war chained dagger parts, showing age, wear and some corrosion as seen in pictures. Scabbard is a later style “Type II” with nickel plated fittings and anodized body with a center mount having a more of a “rolled” or “rounded look” to the border edges as seen and described by Thomas Wittmann on page 141 of his book Collecting the Dress Daggers and Sword of the German… Blade is the original unmarked type which is always found on chained daggers. Blade shows heavy age and wear, but still having a perfect tip and threading is excellent. Extremely rare and very hard to find original chained dagger parts!! Don’t miss out on this one!!!
