This is a very nice example of a Swiss Army Officer Dagger that was manufactured by ELSENER SCHWYZ as well marked on the ricasso. It is mounted with a beautiful blade that measures 8 1/4 inches in length which remains in very good condition with only very minor blemishes. There is also a serial number on the backside of the ricasso. The wooden grip wears plated metal fittings which all remain in very nice condition as well. The metal scabbard wears a black painted finish that also remains nice with light scuffing and a leather metal fitted belt clip. Still present, is the beautiful original red and white portepee and a very pretty cloth insignia mounted upon the hilt. Overall measuring 14 1/2 inches in length. This is a very nice example of a Japanese Army NCO Sword, Type 95. It wears a brass guard and is mounted with a cast aluminum hilt painted to resemble the Officer’s pattern which continues to wear most of the original paint and does remain in nice, tight condition. The machine made blade measures 26 3/8 inches in length and has survived in very nice condition with only some minor surface blemishes. The MATCHING metal scabbard shows to have been painted brown at some time and is a bit scuffed but does remain in very good serviceable condition as well and has no dings. Czech M30 Spanish Civil War. Helmet of Franco’s Nationalists. This is a real good example of a Czech Model 1930. These were made almost exclusively for export. I know some of these went to Africa as I have seen a picture of an Ethiopian soldier in the custody of Italians and he was wearing one. The majority of them went to the Spanish Republic. This particular helmet is one that was captured by Franco’s fascist forces and used on the Nationalist side. Material shortages on both side made the re-issuing of the enemy’s equipment pretty much common practice. She’s been repainted only one time and has been re-linered. Odd thing is, is that the liner is a Spanish copy of the original Czech one. Flat Spanish rivets hold it place. It’s also got a Spanish chinstrap. The badge bracket on the front tells us proof positive that she’s been “Frankanized”. She’s coming right out of my personal collection. The pin is 35mm long approximately and the central badge is 19mm in diameter. The pin is in excellent condition with no damage and the central enamel badge features a “H” on a black and white shield and in the outer band “National Assn old IRA-1st Battn Dublin Brigade”. This was the unit of the Dublin Brigade Irish Volunteers that Kevin Barry belonged to, and this pin would have been worn by 1916 Rising and War of Independence veterans of this unit. If you need one, this is it! This particular one is a very nice example of a German Luftwaffe Survival M30 Drilling Storage Case with original paper booklet. It has survived in wonderful condition with very good original markings and most of the original paint finish still present. Both the latches and the beautiful leather handle also all remain very nice. Inside, all the felt separators as well as the printing of the contents also remain very nice in their condition. From an old estate, here is a very nice IMPERIAL REICHSMARINE GERMAN NAVAL DAGGER. Nice fire gold glit hilt finish with open crown pommel and scarce 1919 style crossguard with fouled anchors on both sides and has red felt washer. Celluloid over wood gold wire wrapped grip that has no damage. 7 7/8 inch double fullered polished blade is in excellent condition with no nicks or sharpening. Scabbard has scarce reefer knot bands and is dent free. Reichsmarine Knot is in super condition with no freying (hard to find in this condition).
