Original 1932 Austrian KuK Erzherzog-Rainer 59th Inf. Very nice original item. Constructed in two-piece silvered and gilt tombac with pin-back. Excellent multi-color enamel in perfect condition. Made by Schwertner & Cie. Issued by the Rainerbund Salzburg, an organization of the friends of the K. Infanterieregiments Erzherzog Rainer No. 59, founded in 1920 by former members of the regiment. The goal of the association was the cultivation of camaraderie and the establishment of the Rainer Regimental Museum on the fortress Hohensalzburg. This is from a set the government had discarded that was ostensibly the original artwork for the designing of the crests for the 48 State National Guard units and our associated territories. They are all original watercolors on board and are in varying condition and the time frame they were done was the 1920’s to the 1940’s and the dates are in the corners with the sign off of the relevant officer of the quartermaster general’s office. These are one of a kind design proofs for the State Guard unit crests and are extremely well done and executed. I do not know who this artist is. This design was approved by the Quartermaster’s department in 1924. It is in good condition with minor corner wear. The size is about 8″ x 10″. I focus on happy repeat customers and love what I do and try to ensure all customers are happy. I do not stay glued to my computer and have a real job so please do not expect instantaneous answers. I specialize in paper, photos, coins and militaria. I sell about anything except reproductions. If it is not old, I say so. If there is a defect, I also say so. You can always learn more in this business. If I make a mistake, and we all do, I will take responsibility for it and you can return the item.

Vintage 1930s to mid 1940s Second Sino Japanese War Kaikosha Officers Club Tiger War Trophy Statue. Identified Chinese soldier recipient and identified Japanese Unit. This is an example of a piece of forgotten/unspoken history from Japan. This was given from the Japanese Kaikosha to deserving individuals for their contributions to the war effort against the Chinese. This one was thought to be given for efforts during the occupation and seizing of Manchuria. This was determined by the actions of the unit identified on the chest of the tiger. Empire of Japan’s Kwantung Army invaded Manchuria on 18 September 1931, immediately following the Mukden Incident. This item was found in US Navy veterans estate after his death. I want to dispell some inconsistency people try to say about these items; the main one being that these came in pairs. This is 100% false. These were made for specific individuals and were singular items commemorating acts for Japan. These again are EXTREMELY Rare!!! Feel free to drop an offer, but only reasonable offers will be considered.
