This is a lovely example of a German made Greek Infantry Officer Sword. The beautiful straight blade wears a single fuller along either side as well as the logo of “Kirschbaum” just next to the guard. The blade measures 33 1/2 inches in length and remains in very nice original condition. The multi branched guard features a very nice crowned cross emblem upon its pommel face and remains in superb condition, continuing to wear all of its bright gold wash. The black composite hilt also remains very nice in its condition and with its twisted wire wrap securely in place. The plated metal scabbard remains near perfect as well.
