This Weimar era German plaque is cast in solid Iron. The google translation of the legend says The Technical Emergency Service is Always Ready For Action. Founded in 1919, this agency was intended to break strike activities associated with Communist politics. During the next government their work expanded to Civilian Home Defense. This model was designed in two variations: with decorative crest (of French Adrian style) and with 2×7 holes airvents (of German style) – this type. In good (used) condition to its age and history, original state, patina. Leather liner and leather chin strap – both in good condition. Rare variant – type with 2×7 holes airvents (German type).

These small pocket yearbooks are very rare, since they were published in a limited number of copies and many pocket books did not survive their regular usage throughout the year. Several drawings and illustrations. In very good exterior and near fine interior condition Faint foxing to boards, name on front free endpaper, otherwise ok with minor traces of use and age. Approximately a medium size with polished steel outside and bronze/brass finish on the inside has Prussian Eagle motif on top of chest. Shows age and patina but no damage.
