This is a very nice example of a Japanese Army NCO Sword, Type 95. It wears a brass guard and is mounted with a cast aluminum hilt painted to resemble the Officer’s pattern which continues to wear some of the original paint and does remain in nice, tight condition. The machine made blade measures 26 3/8 inches in length. The blade also has survived in very nice original condition with only some minor surface blemishes. The MATCHING metal scabbard is a lightly scuffed near the carrying ring but does remain in very good serviceable condition as well and has no dings. Overall measuring 38 1/4 inches in length.
